With years of experience backing her, our founder Kati, has set herself apart by championing and beautifully photographing couples that dare to be different. After experiencing her own intimate San Francisco elopement followed by the dopest party that ever was, Kati was taken with the idea that weddings can be anything you want them to be. What makes them special is that they perfectly reflect each couple and give a glimpse into their lives together. She brings this unique perspective into her work by capturing every moment, big or small, and turning it into a work of art.

- Kati’s house is always filled with music, and the day isn’t complete until a dance party breaks out.
- Her own legendary wedding reception was dubbed “Tacos, Tequila, and Turn Up.”
- Kati is a published children’s book photographer (the girl’s got range!).
- You can keep up with Kati on social media where she shares her best restaurant recs and new recipes to try. Eating is her (other) passion!
Arlene joins our team while also running her own lifestyle wedding and photography business and constantly doodling illustreations. She’s our resident type-A, ultra-organized personality, with a talent for keeping everyone on track. Outside of Merri & Bash, you can find her exploring the great outdoors and enjoying time with her family. She’s truly become an indispensable part of our team, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Outside of Merri & Bash, our team photographer Rebecca, is a mother, wife, painter, and teacher. She’s forever mesmerized by color and light, and her passion for photography stems from a love for capturing special moments amidst the beautiful chaos that is life. She brings her unique expertise and eye to our team, and we’re so grateful to have her!
